I was just out shooting and decided that there were a few things that I really wanted to do before I leave for university, in terms of photography, and this is my list:
-I really want to begin a series based on "Why You'd Want To Live Here". Just to have five or six pictures that really remind me of home (Droppin' Death Cab/Ben Gibbard references all over the place).
-I want to start experimenting more with colours and lights. Just get into more experimental photography.
-I have begun to see more wildlife around my house the past few weeks, including:
-A fox
-Six or seven deer
-A groundhog
-Chipmunks and squirrels
-Various birds
And the idea of animal photography is very appealing to me. I really enjoy taking pictures of animals. A lot of it has to do with the quickness required. You don't have all day, you need to get the shot, and it's very exhilarating. I've got some alright shots of the fox and deer, and i got a few shots of birds this afternoon, but I really want to have some decent shots of these animals by the end of the summer. I'm going to get up early in the days of summer and head out into my backyard to catch them.
-I really want to take one picture that truly defines this summer for me. I have no idea what this picture is going to look like. Whether it will be happy, depressing, angry, or what. Just one that truly defines my summer.
-Roadtrip to a concert, see a band I really, REALLY want to see, and get some good pictures of said band.
That's it for now, I need to go to work, but if I think of more, I'll add them.
